My mom bought a 12 foot inflatable pool for my nephew. I told her when we set it up that she needed to get the chemicals for it. Naturally she waited until the water got cloudy before she got the chemicals. Even then she didn't read the instructions or apply them correctly. She isn't even sure which chemical she added or how much she used.

I went over there a week later and the water was still cloudy. So I read up on it and figured out what needed to be done. I shocked the pool and added the sanitizer. I told my mom she needed to buy some more stuff like PH Add and PH Decrease. Again she didn't listen to me.

After the pool turned dark green, she finally got some more chemicals. Of all the stuff she bought, she didn't get an algaecide. I went out and got a bottle of algaecide and dumped it in. This just turned the water blue, so my mom decided to drain the pool, clean it out and start over. I wonder if she will apply the chemicals correctly this time, or if I am gonna have to do it.
