My brakes have been kinda bad for a couple weeks, but I haven't had a chance to change them. They went out Wednesday on my way to work. I had to swerve into another lane to avoid hitting another car and still almost couldn't stop at a red light. I wanted to go back home, but I had to get this job done before today. I was installing wires to network a new client's office, and they were moving in today. Pumping the brakes worked enough to slow me down to about 5mph, so I drove really slow and used my emergency brake to come to a complete stop.

I still didn't have time to work on the brakes, so I decided to take my truck into the shop yesterday morning. I had some more work to do yesterday so I had to rent a truck to haul my ladder and tools. I was real excited about this new client cause I was gonna make more money than I make in a week with my main client(I need to raise my rate for them). My dad offered to pay for the brakes as my x-mas present, but the price of the rental is gonna eat up the check from this new client. That sucks, but I'm just happy that I didn't get in a wreck.
