Earlier this year, Herschel was talking about starting a gay basketball league. He didn't have much support. Not even mine. It's hard enough to round up a group of fags to play a game, I figured a league to be impossible. So did a lot of other people. Hersh proved us all wrong though. He rounded up enough people to have three teams of ten people. It took a lot of hard work. He ran into some obstacles, but he didn't let any of them slow him down. And now he is preparing for the second season. He expects to have enough people for six teams registered by the August first deadline.

I'm making a web site for the league. We registered a domain name Wednesday. There isn't much to it right now, but I plan to have something to show in about a week. I came up with some logo ideas for Hersh. I don't know if he'll like any of them. If you can't tell I'm no graphics expert.
